I lost my father almost nine years ago to Mesothelioma, lung cancer from asbestos exposure. The most painful experience of my life, and what has shaped me into the man I am today was watching the battle my father endured fighting this horrible disease.
He was diagnosed at 55 years old with Stage 4 cancer, given 6-8 months to live...but he fought for eight long years, a fight I cannot even imagine going through myself.
So, that being said, I'm stepping into the ring on April 24th at the Fillmore to literally knock out cancer and fight in honor of my father, George Sr., and all the other victims of this disease. Join me and my fellow fighters as we raise money and fight cancer to the end!
