Growing up we often fail to realize that the ones we love the most may not be by our side forever. Cancer has a way of reminding us of that.

My life changed forever in 2018 when my best friend, Dexter, was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer. Watching him battling cancer was the hardest part of my adult life and my motivation for competing in Haymakers for Hope. Having the opportunity to honor Dexter, his family and all of those that have been affected by cancer is a privilege, and I am thrilled to fundraise for such an important cause. Being powerless is one of the hardest emotions we ever have to face, but by stepping inside this ring I am reminded we can always fight for those that cannot.

I have chose the Testicular Cancer Society as the beneficiary to receive all straight donations received on my page. These funds will help them with their mission to raise awareness, support those affected by cancer, and create a culture of self-examination to increase the chances of early stage diagnosis.
