The educational industry is a small and close-knit group. We lost one of best to cancer in 2022, and last year one of our closest colleagues was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. Cancer often picks the very best people among us. I am fighting for our much beloved colleagues, who dealt with their situations with unimaginable dignity and grace. They deserve better, as do all those who receive this weighty diagnosis in the future. Let's knock this disease out!

I will be raising money for Hope Lodge, whose 33 centers offer a home away from home for people who are receiving cancer treatment far away from where they live. Hope Lodge saves its patients $55 million in lodging costs per year.
